Cost Proposal: The cost proposal shall include a fee schedule tied to a <br />draft scope of work, itemized according to tasks. Provide hourly fees for <br />team members and a table depicting the total number of hours dedicated <br />to each member. The fee proposal shall include a not to exceed amount. <br />B. Background {�forma�ior� <br />The Roseville Skating Center is owned and operated by the City of Roseville and <br />is a highly used public recreational facility. The Skating Center has three areas of <br />operation: <br />1 Indoor Ice Arena — a year round ice arena used for hockey, figure skating, <br />skating lessons and general public skating. The ice requirementsfor each <br />activity vary greatly. The indoor arena has seating for 2000 people and a <br />walking track surrounding the spectator area. Refrigeration is currently a <br />direct Freon system. <br />Guidant John Rose MN OVAL — an outdoor recreation facility with 110,000 <br />square feet of artificial ice November - March. The OVAL has a 400 meter <br />speed skating track surrounding and infield ice area used for hockey or <br />bandy. The OVAL is also used for inline skating and hosts an aggressive <br />skate park May - September. Refrigeration is currently an indirect <br />brinelammonia system. <br />3 Banquet Facility— rooms to accommodate groups of 30 or 300. The banquet <br />facility hosts wedding receptions, corporate meetings, class reunions and <br />community events of all types. <br />The Skating Center serves an estimated 300,000 people per year. The Skating <br />Center operates one or all facets, of the facility, almost every day of the year. <br />B. Scope of Service <br />1. Energy Audit shall indude, at a minimum, the following items: <br />a. Investigationof the current use and operation of the facility <br />b. Review of current energy, operating and maintenance costs of the <br />facility <br />c. fnspectror� of the building and systems construction <br />d. Inventory and analysis of the existing refrigeration, dehumidification <br />and mechanical systems <br />e. Audit sh�li separate each portion of the facility (Arena, OVAL and <br />banquet/meeting facilities) to aid in determining existing and future <br />energy impacts <br />f. Work with local energy company on providing information for <br />applicable rebates and applications. <br />� <br />
