Comprehensive Plan Update — Discussion of Comprehensive Plan
Update Alternatives
Mr. Stark provided further recommendations to previous City Council
directive to assess each of the comprehensive Plan's 11 sections and
11 appendices to determine which sections remained relevant and
which had become obsolete; and to undertake technical updates of
those relevant sections and recreate obsolete sections in a manner con-
sistent with the Metropolitan Council's System Statement.
Mr. Stark provided a Bench Handout; the various sections and staffs
analysis of those sections; and proposed evaluation of the benefits or
liability of inclusion as reviewed by the Metropolitan Council; staff;
the City Attorney; and City Council.
