April 6, 2007
Dear City of Roseville:
In May of 2006 we started the procedure of changing the size of the lot we own
at 1907 Gluek Lane North in Roseville. We made this change in order to build our
new home on the lot located at what is now 1903 Gluek Lane North. On May 6,
2006, I met with Tom Paschke to review our house plans and to review the lot
change. Tom saw no problems with enlarging the lot.
Once we saw there should be no problem with the lot size change and house
plans, on June 14, 2006, I turned in a minor subdivision request with the required
— $250 fee to the Roseville City Planning Desk. I spoke with Tom Paschke on
September 6,2006 and he told me the request had been approved, and that we
needed final approval on the house plans, which we received on October 31,
2006. Following this approval, we started construction.
This spring I was checking my paperwork I will need to sell my current home
located at 1907 Gluek Lane North and I discovered that I had not filed the quit
claim deed for the lot size change, which was supposed to have been done
within 60 days following City of Roseville approval.
I am not sure what happened, but I thought I was going to receive confirming
paperwork from the City of Roseville, after which I would have filed the quit claim
deed with the county. Whatever happened, I need to reconfirm the approval with
some type of written documentation. I then can fill out the quit claim deed and
provide a certified survey for the City of Roseville to sign off. Once this
paperwork is signed, I will file it with Ramsey County.
Please consider this letter as my request for this process. Please inform me of
any additional procedures or paperwork you will need complete this task. Could
we have this done as soon as possible, perhaps at the next scheduled council
meeting? Thank you.
Brad Peterson
1907 Gluek Lane North
Roseville, MN 55113
651-636-2691
651-283-2153 (cell)
