Aimee Gourlay from Hamline <br />University's Mediation Center for Dispute Resolution is acting as the facilitator during <br />advisory group meetings. Community Development staff, John Stark and Jamie Radel, are <br />staff support to the group. <br />GROUP NORMS <br />Aimee asked the group to establish a list of norms from which to run the meetings and reach <br />decisions. <br />• CAG is the decision making body <br />• City staffwill act as a resource for the group <br />• Visitors can participate and provide input to the discussion; however, priority will be <br />given to group members <br />• Consensus — Goal is that everyone is willing to support an idea. If consensus cannot <br />be reach, it will be noted for Council. <br />PROCESS <br />Jamie went over the study process that was provided to the group. Staff scheduled a <br />community open house for the project on March 15 from 5:30 to 7:30. The next CAG <br />meetings are scheduled for March 22 and 28. <br />The group discussed if postcards invitations to the open house should be sent out to the <br />entire community, the community "most affected" by the lot split issue, or to nobody. The <br />group decided that postcards would not be sent out, but group members could pick up fliers <br />to distribute. <br />HISTORY OF SINGLE-FAMILY DEVELOPMENT <br />John briefly described the history of single-family development in Roseville.
