Cauncilmember Roe expressed furthex apprecia- <br />tian for the CAG as a group wrestling with and discussing issues simi- <br />lar to those being discussed tonighi; and noted �hat he would be taking <br />that into accoua�t as he fur�her considered where to go from here for <br />policy-making decisions. Councilmember Roe opined �hat this was <br />not the end of the dxseussion, but jus� �he beginning. <br />Mayor K�ausing sough� comment from the CAG on the minority opin- <br />ion regarding flag �ots. <br />29 Mr. I)oherty re�ponded tha� the twa rninorifiy opinions we�e based on <br />30 two diff�rent r�asons: 1} to a�Iow enough land �a do �omething mean- <br />31 ingful; and 2} and another just didn'i want them �n the City based on <br />32 affordable housing priori�ies. <br />33 Mayor Klausing again offexed, on beha�f of the community and the <br />34 City Council, a�preciation to the CAG for thezar repart; and concurred <br />35 with Councilmembers Pust and Roe on the readability and under- <br />35 standability of the �eport, and their articulation of the nebulous feel- <br />37 ings about neighborhoods, creaiing good food for thought. <br />38 <br />39 <br />
