Coininissioners are appointed to teims that begin April 1 of each year. Staff contacted <br />coimnissioiiers eligible for reappointment. Tl�e applications for the commissioners who wisl� to <br />be reappointed are attached except fro�n Coinmissioner Phillip Crump. Because of problems with <br />electronic transmission, Mr. Cnunp's application did not reach the office in tiine for inclusion in <br />the packet. It will be available at the Monday Council meeting. <br />Staff checked the 2005 attendance records of the eligible commissioners. Commissioner <br />Delmore attended 6 of 9 meetings. Commissioner Cruinp attended 5 of 9 meetings. <br />Commissioner Kruzel attended 6 of 9 meetings, and Commissioiler Lailge attended 3 of 4 <br />meetings. <br />Commissioners Bakeman, Kamrath, Neprash, Traynor, Willeilbring and Wozniak attended all of <br />their respective Cormnission meetings. <br />Staff called the Chairs of the Commissions and the i�nmediate past Chair of the Human Rights <br />Commission to get recommendations of reappointments. Staff was not able to reach the Chair of <br />the Police Civil Service Commission in li:ii:� for this report. <br />Foz�r�aer Human Rights Commission Chair Thelma McKenzie recommends Phillip Crump be <br />reappointed to the Huinan Rights Commission. <br />Parlcs and Recreation Commission Chair recommends Mark Kainrath and Michelle Kruzel be <br />reappointed to the Parks and Recreation Commission. <br />Planning Commission Chair Mark Traynor recommends Mary Hawker Bakeman and Joe <br />Wozniak be reappointed to the Planning Commission. <br />Public Works, Envirolunent and Transportation Chair poug Wilke recominends Randy Neprash <br />and Ernie Willenbring be reappointed to the Public Works, Environment and Transportation <br />Commission. <br />Possible Council Action: <br />1. If two or n�ore Cotu7cilmembers want staff to schedule Coiiunissioi�ers for interviews <br />(interviews would be January 23 beginning at 5:00). <br />2. Reappoint those Coininissioners the Council does not wish to interview. <br />3. Authorize staff to advertise for the available positions with the 4:30 p.m. Monday, March <br />6, deadline for applications. <br />
