I The City Council annually approves sign pennits for City events held throughoLrt the year <br />by multiple City Departments. '� �ti City Code, Signage Section 1009.031 states "City and <br />Public Signs: Except for traffio-related signage, all pennanent city, school or other <br />governmental unit signage including flags lnust be approved by the City CoLU1ci1." <br />I � For 2006 � I�� Departments prepared the attached list of signage requu enlents for the entire <br />year, recognizing that some events may change dates or ti��es slightly. <br />I� The signs and displays must adhere to setback provisions, except for directional signage, <br />which ulay be at the property line. <br />?.� STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS <br />Staff recoininends the Council approve the 2006 sign penllit for City uses and prolnotions as <br />listed in the attached summary. <br />�,1� SUGGESTED COUNCIL ACTION <br />By motion, approve the 2006 sign permit for City uses and promotions as listed in the 2006 <br />Sign Summary, dated Ol/9/06. <br />�c� ���:��.�� <br />PF3371 — RCA 010906- Page 1 of 3 <br />
