VIIL COMPLIANCE WITI� APPLrCABLE LAWS. <br />The Consultant shall comply with a11 applicable federal, state and iocal laws, ordinances <br />and regulations in the performance of any duties, services and obligatians required by or <br />permitted of the Consultant under this Agreement. <br />IX. ASSIGNMENT. <br />This agreernent shall not be assigned, sul�let, nr transferred witl�out the written consent of <br />the City. <br />X. CONFLICT OF INTEREST <br />The Consultant agrees to immediately alert the Contract Adtninistrator(s) a�passible <br />con.tracivat canflicts of interest in representing the City, as well as property owners or developers <br />on the same project. Conflicts of interest rr�ay be grounds for termination of this Agreernent. <br />X�. NOTICES. <br />Ail notices to be given hereunder shall be in writing anci shall be deemed given the <br />earlier af receipt c�r three (3) business days after deposit in the United States Mail, postage <br />prepaid, addressed to: <br />A.
