Mayor <br />Klausing declared the motion failed for lack of a second. <br />Further discuss�on inciuded occupancy standards and if they <br />related to unrelated or related family members and staff's <br />interpretation of the number of occupants per room according to <br />square footage requirements; potential discarimination or human <br />rights �ssues with Section 404.05; and the ability �'or Council <br />review and amendment, even wzth the substantial vetting �o-date, <br />that may be deemed advi�able following actual use of the IPMC. <br />Mayar Klausing spoke in support of adopting the IPMC as <br />amended. <br />Ihlan maved to delete Section 404 from the Raseville's adoption <br />o�' the IPMC. Mayar Klausing declared the motion failed for <br />Iack of a second. <br />Councilmember Pust expressed continued discussian, opining <br />that thexe were a number of points in Section 404 that should not <br />be deleted; cautioning th� square footage occupancy issues did <br />cause her sorne concern. <br />Given the short notice for the above-referenced amendmeni <br />regarding Section 404, Mayor Klausing suggested that ihe <br />Council consider the process by adopting the cod�, then <br />reviewing specific sections to allow additional staf�' input and <br />research as required. <br />Motion #2 <br />Ihlan maved, Klausing seconded, that a11 provisions of the IPMC <br />
