A used, 1997 Conapost Aeration attachment with 600 haurs on it was found through an internet <br />3�roker for $30,000. This unit would pay for itse�f in 4 to 7 years depending on rnaintenance <br />costs, reducing the annual contract maintenance budgefi ai least $10,000. <br />Discussion of Bids: MacQueen Equi�ment Inc. was the low bidder on the new unit at $92,142. <br />Apollo Equipment has a 1997 model year used unit for sale at $30,500. The used unit would <br />need to be veri�'ied in good condition and transported to Minnesota irom Texas. <br />Staff Recornmendation: Staff recommends sending a staff �nember {mechanic) to ihe <br />Da11as/Fort Worth area to check aver the piece of equipm�nt.
