City Council Regular Meeting — 02/27/06 <br />DRAFT Minutes - Page 12 <br />Applicant Mike Herstine, General Manager, Big City <br />Tavern and Banquet Center <br />Mr. Hersti�e reviewed the agreements for overflow parking <br />with facilities on adjacent properties on the north, south <br />and west sides of their property; in addition to a <br />cooperative working relationship with Midway Ford on the <br />south side of the property, to accommodate future needs if <br />necessary. <br />Councilmember Kough thanked the applicant for their <br />presence in the City and expressed enthusiasm for this new <br />venture. <br />��.1 � <br />Kough moved, Ihlan seconded, adoption of Resolution No. <br />10379 entitled, "A Resolution Approving a Conditional <br />Use Permit for Big City Ventures, Inc. and Oops Theater, <br />in Accordance with Section 1013 of the Roseville City <br />Code, allowing "Live Entertainment" within a Portion of <br />the Lower Level Banquet Area of the Restaurant at 2801 <br />Sneliing Avenue N (PF 3709)." <br />Roll Call �8.1� <br />Ayes: Rough; Pust; Ihlan; Maschka and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />3.k Approve Agreement for Police & Fire Training at 952, <br />960 and 978 Parker Avenue (former Consent Item 3.k) <br />City Manager Beets noted that when properties are <br />scheduled for demolition, the City typically works with the <br />property owner to allow for tactical training for the City's <br />Fire and Police Departments. Mr. Beets noted that, in this <br />instance, the buildings would be used for training, but not <br />burning. <br />Councilmember Ihlan questioned the notice process of <br />surrounding neighborhood properties before the agreement <br />was reached; noting a similar case in the past where a <br />house was burned, making the neighborhood unhappy. <br />City Manager Beets noted that, typically when a bum was <br />Agreement <br />Police & Fire <br />Training at <br />952,960 and 978 <br />Parker Avenue <br />� <br />
