Ciry cf Shoreview Municipal Code Chapter 200. Development Regulations <br />Manager or hislhe� designee sha11 determine whether any proposed surface or <br />material is pervious or impervious. The use of the material sha11 be <br />considered when making a determination of the pervious or impervious nature <br />of any material, i.e., areas subject to repeated pedestrian and vehicular traf�ic <br />become compacted and are considered impervious. <br />Individual Sewa�e Treatment System. A septic tank and soil absorption system <br />or other individual or cluster type sewage treatment system as de�ined in <br />Chapter 7080 of the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency's rules. <br />Industrial Use. The use of land or buildings for the production, manufacture, <br />warehousing, storage, or transfer of goods, products, commodities, or other <br />wholesale materials. <br />Infestation. The presence, within or contiguous to a dwelling or premises, of <br />noxious insects, rodents, vermin or other pests. <br />Infrastmcture. The various utilities necessary for a contemporary development <br />project, including water, sewer, streets, etc. <br />Ino�erable Vehicle. A vehicle including, but not limited to, any automobile, <br />truck, trailer, marine craft, snowmobile, motorcycle, a11 terrain vehicle, mobile <br />home, pickup camper, camping trailer, and other equipment for motorized <br />transportation, that (i) has a missing or defective part that is necessary for the <br />normal operation of the vehicle, (ii) is stored on blocks, jacks, or other <br />supports, or (iii) does not display a license or displays a license that is expired. <br />Unmounted pickup campers or vehicles which are towed sha11 not be deemed <br />inoperable vehicles if they otherwise possess a11 parts and are capable of <br />normal operation and display a license that is not expired. <br />Institutional Housin�. Housing for students, mentally i11, infirm, elderly, nurses, <br />physically handicapped and similar housing of a specialized nature. <br />lGe�ti�rrc.l. Any place where four (4) or more dogs over six (6) months of age are <br />kept for private or commercial purposes. <br />Landin�. A horizontal, unenclosed platform that is attached to the principal <br />structure adjacent to an entry; that not including steps, does not exceed 5 feet <br />in depth perpendicular to the structure or 7 feet wide; and which leads to a <br />walkway. It may have a roof (covered landing). (A1so commonly referred to <br />as steps or a stoop.) <br />Landmark Tree. A we11-shaped, healthy tree of significant age for its species with <br />a trunk diameter as measured four and one-half feet above the ground that <br />meets or exceeds the following: 15 inches - Ash, Birch, B1ack Cherry, Cedar, <br />Section 202.
