This area has not been designated as a prairie grass restoration area nor does the Association term it as one. Over the past seven years, the Townhome Association has requested and been issued burn permits for this site. As in the past, the Association will retain a professional burning service that specializes in prairie burns to conduct the burn. The Association is requesting that the burn permit be issued for the period April 1 through April 30, 2006. It is their intent to conduct the burn on or about April 10. The exact date of the burn is dependent upon the weather conditions. The Association will notify the Roseville Fire Department when the date is set. StafF Recommendation It is the staff's recommendation that the City Council authorize the Fire Marshal to issue a burn permit to the Concordia Meadows Atrium Townhome Association. The permit would be for the period of April 1 through April 30, 2006. The purpose of the permit is to burn the wild growth around the water retention pond at the townhome complex site at 506 Lovell Avenue. �.� Suggestion City Council Action By motion, authorize the Fire Marshal to issue a burn permit to the Concordia Meadows Atrium Tavvnhome Association, 506 Lovell Avenue, to burn the wild growth around the retention pond at the tau+rni�ame complex, conditioned upon compliance with the following stipulations: a� The effective date of the permit shall be from April 1 through April 30, 2006; b� The burn shall be conducted by acknowledged experts; and �� The Association will notify the Roseville Fire Department at least two days in advance of the date of the burn.
