I am currently the General Manager o�� the Residence Inn of Roseville <br />for the past three years, as well as an active n�ember on the board for the Ciry of Roseville. <br />We all have a common �«al of ensuring fili�t� Roseville gels the recognition and the desired travelers we <br />ucscrv� io u�F� coii�mnniGy. This is a win win situation not only the hotel management company, but as well <br />as the Ciry of Roseville for the anr�oui�t of taxes we pay Roseville and the number of patrons that we have in <br />our city utilizing our hotels, restaurants, malls, movie theaters, and mis�. other businesses. <br />I believe as a business in Roseville, it would help our ciry to improve a more appealing destination for our <br />guests if we were to update the names of our Counry Road signs. Being in the hospitaliry industry, we have <br />a col�nlon issue with our guests specifically getting all the Counry Roads confused. We are consistently <br />stressing County Road D as in Dog or County Road C as in cat to ensure the gnest has the correct street <br />exits to our location. I. believe if we were able to consider changing the Counry Road signs to actual street <br />names ti'ith�i� the ciry, we wouldn't be a confusion to many people, as well as be updated as many other <br />cities already are. We have had many comments for our extended guests stating they thought we were <br />located in the country since we were U'.i'of the "Counry Road." <br />We would appreciate any support that you could provide to help endorse this change.
