Beets <br />City Manager <br />City of Roseville, Minnesota <br />2660 Civic Center Drive <br />Roseville, MN 55113 <br />Dear Mr. Beets: <br />I am contacting you regarding the county road sign name change effort that the Roseville <br />Visitors Association (RVA) has initiated. <br />As the General Manager of the largest hotel property in Roseville I continually strive to <br />present Roseville in the best possible light. People do not stay at hotels because they like <br />to sleep in hotel rooms. People stay at hotels because they enjoy the destination and no <br />other lodging is available. <br />The more we can do to elevate the perception of our beautiful city, the better our <br />destination will appear. More importantly, the better Roseville appears, the more <br />successful all Roseville businesses will be. <br />In short, I support the county road street name change. The lettered county road signs <br />may have served a purpose at one time.
