(Source: Roseville's Vista 2000, Report of Leisure Study Group, December, 1992) • City of Roseville Parks anct Recreation Department publishes 10 year strategic plan which discusses potential plans of action regarding facilities issues. The following objectives were identified: 1. Contract for the development o f a facilities n�aster plan 2. Develop plaxa for community leisure pool 3. Develop long term plan for activity center replacement 4. Develop plans for provision of space for cultural arts space 5. Explore alternatives for development of indoor pool (Source: City of Roseville, Parks and Recreation Department Blueprint for 2002, Ten Year Strategic Plan, June, 1992) 1993 • The John Rose Minuesota OVAL was constructed and attached to the Roseville Arena. 1994 • City of Roseville adopted its Comprehensive Plan, later attaching an implementation strategy to create a master plan for a city center to be located generally around the intersection of Lexington Avenue and County Road "C." Recommended against any significant expenditures to repair the Activity Center due to the location and deterioration of the Center.
