Because the owner had an opportunity to participate in Roseville's <br />reduced fine program but chose not to, and because the server had <br />several opportunities to reconsider serving liquor to this underage <br />customer but chose not to, I have decided that the $500 fine for a first <br />offense, established by our elected officials, will stand. The one-day <br />suspension of the privilege of serving liquor will also stand; this <br />suspension is for Friday, December 27. <br />In the future, you may wish to participate in our voluntary server <br />training program that reduces fines for violations.
