Destruction of the animal may occur after <br />the animal Owner has had a reasonable opportunity for a hearing <br />before a decision-maker appointed by the City. <br />(10) Law enforcement; exemption. Nothing contained in this <br />Ordinance shall apply to dogs used for law enforcement purposes <br />by a law enforcement agency. <br />Source: Ordinance No. 307, Third Series <br />Effective Date: 3-15-02 <br />Determination of Status. <br />�l} Whether an animal is "dangerous" or "potentially dangerous" as <br />that term is used herein shall be determined by the Chief of Police <br />or his or her designee in consultation with the City Attorney.
