�'ii.� ���' <br />�� � <br />� <br />Minnesota <br />RESIDENTIAL DRIVEWAYS <br />GUIDELINES FOR THE INSTALLATION AND REPLACEMENT OF <br />DRIVEWAYS IN ROSEVILLE. <br />Per City Zoning Ordinance and City Code <br />I. A land use permit is required for the construction of a new driveway or for the <br />replacement of an existing driveway. A driveway pei7nit is not required for a new <br />single family dwelling. <br />�.. Driveways must be set back from side property lines a minimum of S feet. Driveways nlust be constructed of a hard surfaced material such as concrete, asphalt <br />or brick pavers. Gravel is not allowed as a finished surface. If a concrete driveway is <br />being installed on a roadway without curb and gutter, the concrete shall be kept two <br />feet from the roadway edge and asphalt placed in this last section. <br />�� A separate Ramsey County permit is required for any work in the County right-of- <br />way. Contact the Ramsey County Public Works Department at 651-266-7100. Maps <br />identifying county roads are available at Roseville City Hall. <br />�. New driveways on county roads require a turn-around. Replacing an existing <br />driveway on a county road does not require a turn-around to be added. <br />�7. The maximum driveway width at the street for County roads is 22 feet. <br />? The maximum driveway width at the street for Roseville streets is 26 feet. <br />� Maximum impervious surface coverage on a residential (Rl-R2) lot is 30°/o. <br />��. Please schedule a final inspection when the driveway is complete. If replacing curbing on a city street please contact Supervisor Steve Zweber at 651- <br />792-7052 for curb specifications. <br />1 l. If the water service box is located within the driveway, it should be adjusted to be <br />flush with the driveway surface and sleeved. <br />12.
