�#k��r�1�� k� EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ROCEUILIF, MINNESOTA HELD - APR�, 28, 1980 w,r��e �e��,� k:,�tt�� Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Ramsey County, Minnesota, was duly held at the City Hall on Monday, Apri T 28, 1980, at 7: 3� P.M. The following membets were present: Mayor D�nos, Councilmen Anderson and Franke and the following were absent: Councilmen Curl ey and Kehr. NI�i�• Anderson introduced the following resolution and moved i t s adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 6946 WHEREAS, the City o f Roseville has established a Traffic Safety Cor�nittee whose membership includes the Director of Police, the Director of Public Wo�s and the City Manager; and WHEREAS, the Traffic Safety Cammittee has the responsibi�ity for investigating and studying all matters relating to vehicular traffic conditions and non-motorized uses, including parking, speed, traffic control devices and other traffic safety hazards; and WHEREAS, the Traffic Safety Gotr�rti ttee has the authority to impietnent or install whatever corrective means to improve traffic safety on streets under the jurisdiction of the City of Roseville; and WHEREAS, the Traffic Safety Committee has the authority to recomm�d to the respective agencies whatever corrective means to improve traffic safety on streets under the jurisdiction of county, state or federal governments; and WI�ZFAS, the Traffic Safety Committee has been for many years carrying out this function in a responsible manner; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Roseville City Council re- affirm the assigned responsibility and confidence in the Roseville Traffic Safety Cor�ni ttee; and BE TT FURTf�R RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Ramsey County Board Of COCtiTIt"ISS'101181^S, � � �
