City Council Regular Meeting — OS/08/06 <br />DRAFT Minutes - Page 3 <br />of Roseville; and questioned why the City didn't have a <br />code enforcing parl�ing of such large vehicles; and <br />encouraging the City to be consistent in their enforcement <br />of the nuisance code. <br />Mayor Klausing explained the rationale behind the code; <br />existing parl�ing restrictions and ordinances; and future <br />discussions regarding both at the upcoming community <br />visioning meetings. <br />Mr. Tschida requested that the City Council review their <br />current code related to parl�ing of recreational vehicles. <br />�. Gary Grefenberg, 91 Mid Oaks Lane <br />Mr. Grefenberg distributed a summary of his suggestions <br />for the City Council regarding the community visioning <br />process. Mr. Grefenberg detailed those suggestions in his <br />oral comments; thanl�ing Councilmember Pust for her part <br />in getting the process moving forward, and speal�ing in <br />support of the visioning process, with suggestions <br />regarding timing for the process; inclusion of a vision and <br />value statement; and the need to provide transparency in all <br />activities, given the current paranoia and cynicism <br />regarding government activities, whether perceived or <br />apparent. Mr. Grefenberg suggested another subcommittee: <br />"Civic Governance," as well as another on "Suburban <br />DesignlPlanning," for consideration of regional <br />transportation and aesthetic issues (i.e., light rail transit, <br />landscaping along major thoroughfares). Mr. Grefenberg <br />encouraged the City Council to hear �rom the entire <br />community, whether long-term or newer residents. <br />Mayor Klausing and Councilmember Pust thanlced Mr. <br />Grefenberg for his insights and valuable input. <br />�'.
