City Council Regular Meeting — OS/08/06 <br />DRAFT Minutes - Page 7 <br />in the best interests of the City and residents adjacent to <br />Lalce Owasso. <br />Councilmember Pust sought clarification regarding the <br />specific holidays az�dlor hours; noting that the contract <br />didn't specify. <br />City Manager Beets noted that the Sheriffs office malces a <br />determination on how to deploy personnel, depending on <br />availability of those personnel; and discretion was left <br />with the Sheriffs Department. <br />Councilmember Pust requested that the contract either be <br />revised to specify the hours and specific holidays; or that <br />an annual report be provided by the Ramsey County <br />Sheriffs Patrol, outlining the number of hours spent <br />patrolling the lalce in order to justify the requested amount. <br />Staff was so directed to notify the Ramsey County <br />Sheriffs Patrol of the request for this annual accounting. <br />Staff clarified, at the request of Councilmember Ihlan, that <br />the County billed for the actual hours, not as a flat fee. <br />Kough moved, �iaschl�a seconded, approval of an <br />Agreement for Supplemental Law Enforcement Services <br />between the City of Roseville and Ramsey County for <br />supplemental law enforcement services on Lalce Owassa at <br />a cost not to exceed $1,659, to be funded from the 2006 <br />Lalce Patrol Budget; and further authorizing the Mayor and <br />City Manager to sign the said agreement upon final review <br />by the City Attorney. <br />Roll C all <br />Ayes: Pust; Maschlca; Ihlan; Kough and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />3,g Grant a Permit to Burn Native Grasses at the Awasso <br />Heights Townhome Association, 2970 High Pointe <br />Curve <br />Mayor Klausing requested that staff clarify the actual <br />location on a map, for use by the applicant, prior to the <br />burn. <br />Grant a Permit to <br />Burn Permit for <br />Native Grasses <br />Owassa Heights <br />Townh�me Assn <br />2970 High Pointe <br />
