Consider Items Removed from the Consent Agenda <br />4.a Enact Amendments to the City Code regarding <br />Nuisance Abatement (Former Consent Item 3.d) <br />At the request of Mayor Klausing, City Manager Beets <br />briefly reviewed this item, as addressed at a previous <br />Council meeting and as outlined in the draft ordinance. <br />City Manager Beets reviewed the amendments to City <br />Code related to including graffiti and cut vegetative <br />growth to those public nuisances that can be abated using <br />an accelerated abatement process; and the definition of <br />debris; clarification of uprooted tree stumps, and other <br />comments of the City Council and public at past meetings. <br />Councilmember Kough questioned provisions for outdoor <br />storage (i.�., dumpsters). <br />Mayor Klausing suggested that Councilmember Kough <br />address specific property concerns with staff directly, <br />rather than in a public forum. <br />Councilmember Ihlan opined that she was supportive of <br />the proposed accelerated abatement process, revisions to <br />the definition of debris; but offered an amendment to the <br />proposed ordinance to include "unauthorized" graffiti. <br />Ihlan moved, Kough seconded, amending ordinance <br />Amend �tvadway <br />Easement for W <br />Snelling Service <br />Drive Adj acent to <br />HarMar <br />Apartments <br />Consider Items <br />Removed from the <br />Consent Agenda <br />Ordinance1337 <br />Nuisance <br />Abatement <br />
