City Council Regular Meeting — OS/22/06 <br />DRAFT Minutes - Page 11 <br />At the request of Mayor Klausing, City Manager Beets <br />briefly reviewed this item to correct a codification error <br />where areas of text and the accompanying chart, when <br />updated and clarified, were found to be inconsistent with <br />errors of omission in the chart. Mr. Beets noted that this <br />particular correction was to clarify the types of restaurants <br />allowed in B-4 Zoning Districts. <br />Councilmember Ihlan questioned the existing language of <br />the matrix versus the proposed language, specifically that <br />of drive-ins; questioning whether this was a change in <br />policy, not just a correction in the table. <br />City Planner Thomas Paschke reviewed the history of the <br />codification process, dating back to 2003 and 2004; and <br />the omissions recently found. <br />CouncilmemberIhlan asked that the request be tabled until <br />staff provided documentation of past Council action and <br />verification, via meeting minutes and supporting <br />documentation, from February of 2003 on, prior to <br />Council action. <br />Ihlan moved, Klausing seconded, tabling action for a <br />change in the Business District Zone chart�pertaining to <br />restaurants as a permitted use (Class I, ITI & IV) and <br />conditional use (Class V) within the B-4, Retail Office <br />Service District zoning designation, until the June 12, <br />2006 regular City Council meeting; and directing staff to <br />provide documentation and verification of past City <br />Council action in the Council Packet information related <br />to that prior action, specifically addressing permitted <br />drive-in restaurants. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Pust; Maschka; Ihlan; Kough and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />the B-4, Retail <br />Office Service <br />District (PF 3764) <br />4.d Reimbursable Twin Lakes Expenses (Former Agenda Reimbursable Twin <br />Item 4.a) Lakes Expenses <br />At the request of Mayor Klausing, City Manager Beets <br />briefly reviewed this request for approval of claims, as <br />
