City Council Regular Meeting — OS/22/06 DRAFT Minutes - Page 13 hereby call upon all citizens of Roseville to join Roseville Neighborhood Watch Groups and the National Association of Town Watch in supporting opportunities to participate in efforts to reduce crime, drugs and violence in Roseville through community unity and cooperation. Roll Call Ayes: Pust; Maschka; Ihlan; Kough and Klausing. Nays: None. Councilmembers provided their whole-hearted support of community participation in the National Night Out; and City Manager Beets and Ms. Darby noted the kick-off party in Central Park, scheduled for Monday, July 31, 2006, with "Family Night Out," from 5:00 —$:40 p.m. with free family events and activities, and snacks available (at a cost). S.b Proclamation of National Public Works Week City Manager Beets reviewed the proposed proclamation, recognizing the Public Works Department for their day-to- day operations to keep the community safe, healthy and comfortable. Ihlan moved, Pust seconded, proclaiming May 21-27, 2006 as National Public Works Week in the City of Roseville; recognizing the dedicated work of Community Public Works employees to ensure the quality operation and maintenance of the City's infrastructures, facilities and services; thereby enhancing the health, safety and comfort of the Roseville community. Presentation from City Anditors about the 2005 City Financial Statements Mayor Klausing apologized to the presenters and audience members for the delay in tonight's meeting schedule due to the announcements regarding OVAL funding.
