City Council Regular Meeting — OS/22/06 <br />DRAFT Minutes - Page 13 <br />hereby call upon all citizens of Roseville to join Roseville <br />Neighborhood Watch Groups and the National <br />Association of Town Watch in supporting opportunities to <br />participate in efforts to reduce crime, drugs and violence <br />in Roseville through community unity and cooperation. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Pust; Maschka; Ihlan; Kough and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />Councilmembers provided their whole-hearted support of <br />community participation in the National Night Out; and <br />City Manager Beets and Ms. Darby noted the kick-off <br />party in Central Park, scheduled for Monday, July 31, <br />2006, with "Family Night Out," from 5:00 —$:40 p.m. <br />with free family events and activities, and snacks available <br />(at a cost). <br />S.b Proclamation of National Public Works Week <br />City Manager Beets reviewed the proposed proclamation, <br />recognizing the Public Works Department for their day-to- <br />day operations to keep the community safe, healthy and <br />comfortable. <br />Ihlan moved, Pust seconded, proclaiming May 21-27, <br />2006 as National Public Works Week in the City of <br />Roseville; recognizing the dedicated work of Community <br />Public Works employees to ensure the quality operation <br />and maintenance of the City's infrastructures, facilities <br />and services; thereby enhancing the health, safety and <br />comfort of the Roseville community. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Pust; Maschka; Ihlan; Kough and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />6.
