Category I or Category ik nonfriable ACM that has been contaminated by RACM, and cannot be <br />decontaminated (e.g., building debris in a pile contaminated with RACM) must be treated as <br />�L��I �or�i�s i�i7g a�tc �nat��,a:. c��€•p�r�+� I� �; �� If � that does not meet e <br />f�l�f�� crf FtAC :M a*F ���rr, �I+a� ¢i r��c�r�afii�, ar1r� I� not � with RACM, i� � <br />asbestos-containing waste material and is not subjectto the wetting requirement of �� .�5��a��3�. <br />Category I or �� nonfriable ACM that is not subject to �a�.'f ���a��3� would still have to be disposed <br />of in a landfill that accepts building debris, in a landfill that operates in accordance with 61.154, or <br />at a facilitythat operates in accordancewith 61.155. This waste material would not be allowed to <br />go to any facilitythat would sand, grind, cut or abrade the non-RACM waste or otherwise turn it <br />into RACM waste (such as a cer�ent recycling facility). In addition, if Category � or li nonfriable <br />ACM is sanded, ground, cut or abraded during disposal at a landfill, before it is buried, it is <br />subject to the NESHAP. (See Appendix I). <br />
