Accumulation of trace
elements, as well as reductions in growth and survival, were more
pronounced than in previous laboratory studies, suggesting that resource
conditions may be important in mediating ash toxicity. Tal{en together, our
studies suggest that ash discharge into aquatic systems is a more serious
threat to the health of benthic fish than previously predicted based upon
laboratory toxicity tests.
PMD: 1511Q46S [PubMed - indexed for MEDLINE
..T-4,.,...—.,,. . . w .„.w.,,..:— . . ..
 ,,•..,.x .  ,. . ... • $.„
f. _ ...„ •• • '    M1
. .• . :.-•
f']sla .i':I `:;' _' :••_•  { Isrnk ;:€ •: +1...::.. 7: >4d[::: ,. ....
. :
. . . . . . ,
.,,,.,.. _ ..,,m¢ ,..x.,.., .....,,,,,,.... ... .. • .. ..m... ,. ,M,d..,...._,......::::::::::... . . .. .. _.
Write the Help Desk t8l; N3 :Lli De rtment af Healih 8 Human Services PnrG
- fiatar:rit = ieadret €ar EnllreteEar rct : E]+eFsirrar
May 9 2006 14:13:(S
- xrr-rr.r
