City Council Regular Meeting — 06/12/06 �RA�'T Minutes ' Page 24 Councilmember Ihlan — Scheduling of Public Hearing regarding 2006 Liquor Compliance Violations City Attorney Anderson noted that he had a draft letter in process to deliver to the three entities, following review by the City Manager and Mayor Klausing. City Attorney Anderson noted that an appropriate response time would be required from the recipients, at which time a public hearing date could be scheduled. Councilmember Ihlan — Scheduling of Public Hearing regarding 2006 Liquor Compliance Violations City Hall Campus Landscaping City Hall Campus Councilmember Maschka questioned whether discussion Landscaping of the prairie grass on the west side of City Hall would be prudent; and whether it was appropriately placed. Mayor Klausing noted the differing opinions of those supporting manicured landscaping and those supporting a more environmental aspect; suggesting that it be given time to develop and mature. Councilmember Kough spoke in opposition to the natural state surrounding City Hall. Mayor Klausing directed staff, with Council consensus, to include discussion of the natural growth areas at the next City Council Study Session. City Council/Depa�rt�nent Heads Strategic Goals 2006- 2007 (dated May 18,2006) Councilmember Pust reminded Councilmembers that she would be seeking Council input on the proposed City Council Work Chart at the next Study Session. Staff was directed to provide duplicate copies of the work plan to Councilmembers.
