����� ��� <br />��� <br />City of Roseville <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE ADDING <br />CHAPTER 206 <br />ETHICS COMMISSION <br />THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE ORDAINS: <br />SECTION 1: A new Title Two, Chapter 206 of the Roseville City Code is added to read as <br />follows: <br />206.01: ESTABLISHIVVI�NT AND MEMBERSHIP: <br />There is established an ethics commission of the City which shall consist of five (5) members <br />appointed by the City CounciL Members shall be residents of the City and appointed for three <br />(3) year staggered tenns. Terms of fi��e i.litia? members'�'ilj be established by t1�e council at the <br />time of their appointment. No member shall serve more than two (2) full consecutive terms. <br />206.02 : ORGANIZATION: <br />The Commission shall annually elect one member to serve as chairperson and one member to <br />serve as vice chairperson. <br />206.03: MEETINGS AND REPORTS: <br />The Commission shall annually adopt a regular meeting schec�u�e and ���� hold other <br />meetings, as it deeins necessary. The Commission may adopt rules for the transaction of <br />business and shall lceep a record of its meetings and actions. <br />206.04: DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS: <br />The duties and functions of the Commission shall be as follows <br />A. Serve in an advisory capacity to the City Council on matters involving any ethics code <br />adopted by 1T7�` City Council. <br />B. Administer any ethics code adopted by the City Council. <br />C. Perfonn other duties and functions or conduct studies as specifically directed or <br />delegated by the City Council. <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
