Date: 7110106 <br />Item: l .d <br />Women of Today <br />��� ounder's Day Proclamation <br />��� <br />Women of Today <br />Founder's Day Proclamation <br />Whereas: The Minnesota Women of Today and the Roseville Women of Today have <br />set aside July 1 to recognize the many community activities of dedicated Women of <br />Today members across the state, and <br />Whereas: The Minnesota Women of Today is an organization of more than 2,200 <br />women in more than 120 communities across the state; and <br />Whereas: The Minnesota Women of Today and the Roseville Women of Today are <br />dedicated to actively promoting such public awareness and service programs as: <br />Domestic Violence Prevention, People with Developmental Challenges, March of Dimes, <br />Kidney Disease and the Girl Scouts; as well as People Serving People, Jacob Wetterling <br />Foundation and Second Harvest; and <br />Whereas: The Minnesota Women of Today and the Roseville Women of Today <br />provide personal enrichment and leadership training; and <br />Whereas: The Women of Today believe that "Through us great lessons can be <br />learned, worthy deeds performed and a hand of fellowship extended to millions of <br />women everywhere." <br />Now, Therefore Be It Resolved, that the City Council hereby declare July 1,2006, to be <br />Women of Today Founder's Day in the City of Roseville. <br />In the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, State of Minnesota, U.S.A <br />In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Seal of the City of <br />Roseville to be affixed this lOth day of July 2006. <br />Mayor Craig D.
