City Council Regular Meeting — Qb/�0/06 <br />DRAFT Minutes - Page 15 <br />amendment occurred in March of 2003, which clarified <br />restaurant types and the zones in which they would be permitted <br />or conditionaL The second amendment occurred in February <br />2004, which made a number of text updates and converted <br />permitted and conditional use text into a chart. <br />Discussion included staffs confidence that discrepancies had <br />_ been identified and further amendment would not be required, or <br />— if further review was prudent; the inclusion of live entertainment; <br />— and potential for further refinement. <br />[5.1] <br />Maschka moved, Klausing seconded, approval of the change in <br />the Business District Chart (Section 1005.015) pertaining to <br />restaurants – specifically allowing a Class III – Traditional with <br />IntoxicatanglNon-In�oxication (3.2 beer, wine a�d/oz- strong beer) <br />as a PERMITTED USE; a Class IV – Traditional wlOn-Sale <br />Liquor Service (full service bar) with takeou�ldeli as accessory <br />use – no live entertainment or dancing as a PERMITTED USE; <br />and a Class IV – Traditional wlOn-Sa1e Liquor Service (full <br />service bar) with live entertainment or dancing as a <br />CONDITIONAL USE." <br />Councilmember Ihlan requested as a future agenda item, <br />inclusion of discussion of code language related to <br />modelsldancers and rationale for deleting it from the code; and <br />whether it was due to language addressed in the Sexually <br />Oriented Business code provisions. <br />Roll Call [10.b] <br />Ayes: Kough; Ihlan; Pust; Maschka and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />10.
