City Co�nc'r1 Study Session — 03/20/06 <br />Minutes - Page 10 <br />Mounds View School District; opining that the Dis�rict was a <br />victim of past contamination of the 1and. <br />Bob Willmus, 2932 Hamline Ave, south of proje�t a�rass <br />street <br />Mr. Willmus spake in apposition to thc future land use requiring <br />a Planned Unit Development (PUD); expressing his concern <br />regarding the densi�y of either proposal, and their not meeting <br />existing standards far lots af 10,000 or greater square footiage; <br />the need to conform to the established neighborhood; and <br />consistency with front yard seiback requiarements to those <br />established homes. <br />10. Discuss Storage of Vehicles on Streets <br />Councilmember Kough requested that this item be considered at <br />ihis time to accommodate those audience members wishing to <br />address the Council regarding the storage of vehicles on City <br />s�reets. <br />Ms. Suzanne VanDeusen, 2417 Wheeler Street, had provided a <br />written complaint regarding abuse and enforcement of vehicles <br />on City streets; and sought resolution from th� City Council. <br />NIs. VanDeusen was present and summarized her concerns. <br />Counciimember Kough requested that this item be referred to the <br />recently-appointed Council Parking Subcommittee, consis#in� of <br />Councilmembers Kough and Ihlan, for their recomm�ndation to <br />the City Council for a solution to these fiypes of angaing <br />situations. <br />Councilmember Yh1an thanked Ms. VanDeusen for bringing the <br />matter to the Council's attention; opining �hat this served as <br />another example of a gap in the City's current parking ordinance <br />and should necessitate the Council's review of �hat ordinance, <br />seeking comparisons with other communities and their <br />Councilmembers Kough and Ihlan agreed to undertake a <br />compr�hensive review of the City's parking regulations and <br />report back to the City Councrl. <br />Stnrage af Vehicles <br />on Streefs <br />
