I The City of Roseville Planning Division is seel�ing an extension to the 60-day review <br />deadline (from August 1, 2006) to September 30,2006 for the CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT application by Walser Automotive Group to allow redevelopment of the former <br />McCartl�y GMC/Porztiac at 2775 Highway 35. <br />�,� BACKGROUND: <br />?. .� The application was submitted to the Community Development Department on June 2, <br />2006; determined complete on June 8,2006; forwarded to the Planning Commission for <br />action on July 12,2006; and has a 60 day review deadline of August 1, 2006. <br />i. � During the review of the proposed request a number of items/'zssues arose from the <br />adjacent property owner that required additional research by the applicant and document <br />review by the Roseville City Attorney. Similarly, the Commission supported (4-1) the <br />proposed redevelopment with site plan modifications that required review and approval <br />by the City Planner and if necessary the DevelopmentReview Committee. <br />i..� Since the Planning Commission action, the applicant has been working on the document <br />clarification and the site plan revisions. However, the City Planner has not received the <br />requisite informationnecessary to complete a project repoz�i for City Council <br />consideration. <br />'.� The City Council does not meet until August 1� —hence it is necessary to extend the 50- <br />day review deadline and additional days to September 30,2006, affording the City <br />Planner that necessary time to review the submitted information for consistence with the <br />Planning Commission recommendation and to create the required report for City Council <br />Action. <br />�_�� <br />�, l <br />SUGGESTED ACTION: <br />ADOPT A RESOLUTION APPROVING up to a 60-day extension of the Walser <br />Automotive Group request. <br />�i'�i?�_��r�_��1����F�LCriR�f�17_�1��'J?I�r.dn� PagC 1 Of 1 <br />
