City �f <br />1i�� � <br />��� � <br />�1ian�x�rta, ���,�i <br />City Council Study Session <br />DRAFT Minutes DRAFT' <br />Roseville City Hall Council Chambe�s <br />Monday, July 17,2006 <br />Date: 07/24/06 <br />Item: 4.b <br />Minutes of 07/17/06 <br />Call Roll Call Roll <br />Mayor Klausing called the Study Session of the Roseville City Council b; �0 p.m. <br />to order at approximately 6:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers <br />on the above date and welcomed everyone. <br />Roll Call (Voting and Seating Order) <br />Councilmembers Maschka; Pust; Kough, Ihlan and Mayor Klausing. <br />City Manager Neal Beets and City Attorney Jay Squires were also <br />present. <br />City Manager Beets introduced the City of Roseville's new <br />Community Development Director John Stark, starting employ with <br />the City today. <br />Joint Meeting with the Public Works, Environment and <br />Transportation Commission (PWETC) <br />PWETC Chair poug Wilke introduced fellow PWETC Commissioners <br />who were present: Commissioners Ernie Willenbring; Randy Neprash <br />and Doug Wilke; and noted that Commissioners Ue�3enedet and Joel <br />Fischer were unavailable for tonight's meeting. <br />Public Works Staff present included City Public Works Director <br />Duane Schwartz and City Engineer Deb Bloom. <br />Maintenance of Infrastructure: Is the Council committed to <br />maximizing the life of infrastructure by fully funding preventative <br />maintenance and report of infrastructure? <br />Aging Infrastructure: Are we doing enough to make sure that we <br />are planning for replacement? <br />City Manager Beets advised that his 2007 Budget recommendations <br />would include increased funding for the City's Asset Replacement <br />Joini 1V.�ee�img wit� <br />PWETC <br />
