The licenses to be renewed <br />include, ten (10) Off Sale Intoxicating (maximum of 10 allowedby Cityordinance), twenty-four(24) <br />On Salelntoxicating, four (4) Club, eight (8) Wine, fourteen (�4} On Sale 3.2 Non-IntoxicatingMalt <br />Liquor, and nine (9) Off Sale 3.2 Non-IntoxicatingMalt Liquor (City ordinance or state statute do <br />not limit the number of the last five types of licenses). A public hearing needs to be established for <br />the November 27,2006 council meeting for the consideration of the renewal of these licenses. <br />Financial Implications <br />The revenue that is generated from the license fees collected is used to offset the cost of police <br />compliance checks, background investigations, enforcement of liquor laws, and license <br />administration. <br />Council Action <br />Motion establishing a public hearing on Monday, November 27, 2006 far the renewal of the <br />following liquor licenses for calendaryear 2007. <br />
