Ms. Bacon was further directed to choose the most applicable firm to provide the testing. Ms. Bacon referenced the City Attorney's opinion regarding the public nature of the individual Councilmember interviews with candidates; and sought direction on scheduling 1/2 hour interviews accordingly. Council consensus supported Ms. Bacon's assumptions for scheduling one-on-one interviews, open to the public, with individual candidates. Ms. Bacon reviewed the proposed schedule and format for the public social with City Manager candidates (Exhibit C), scheduled for 5:00 — 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 16. Council consensus was in agreement with the suggested schedule; and Ms. Bacon was directed to proceed as outlined. Ms. Bacon reviewed the proposed candidate schedule (Exhibit D), noting that she would need to incorporate an additional candidate to the schedule, as she had only anticipated five candidates. Council consensus concurred with the proposed candidate schedule, as amended to include six candidates, as proposed by Ms. Bacon, and she was directed to proceed. Ms. Bacon was directed to select a location for the Candidate and Council dinner; with Ms. Pust opining her support for a location within the City of Roseville. A brief discussion was held on contract negotiation process and determinations in closed Executive Session; City Attorney participation in the offer process; conditions of employment; and subsequent Open Meeting to ratify the final, negotiated contract. 3.
