4.0 REVIEW of REQUEST:
•. ! Ron Anderson (Ron Anderson Custom Homes) sought and received approval of the Birch
Park subdivision of 3.73 into a 10 lot single family residential development— meeting all
requirements of Section 1004 and 1100 of the Roseville City Code.
. Staff reports for the October 5,2005 Planning Commission meeting, the October 24,
2005 City Council meeting, and the January 30,2006 City Council all specified that the
newly constructedpublic street serving the development would be named Chatsworth
Court.
_` Community Development staff had chosen the name Chatsworth Court as presented in
staff reports based on the new street most closely aligning with the existing Chatsworth
Street to the north and south.
• ,E Staff requested feedback from other departments regarding the address assignment of the
new lots and received no responses. On July 22,2006, Community Development staff
sent official notificationsto the Postmaster, public utilities, emergency services, and other
public agencies assigning addresses in the range of 2043-2076 Chatsworth Court to the
new lots.
. The final plat filed with Ramsey County, however, indicated the street name as Parker
Court.
.5 A home is being constructed on one of the new lots and is now occupied. The resident has
requested that the City erect a street sign. According to Public Works Department policy,
a street sign cannot conflict with the officially platted name of the public road.
 STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
.] The Community Development Department recommends adoption of a resolution
renaming the public roadway in the Birch Park subdivision from Parker Court to
Chatsworth Court.
, SUGGESTED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
.1 ADOPT a RESOLUTION renaming the public roadway in the Birch Park subdivision
from Parker Court to Chatsworth Court.
P'36b5_RCA_1127f}5 Page 2 of 2
