�� Professional or consulting services necessary to ensure the immediate health, safety, and <br />welfare of the City of Roseville and/or to respond to lawsuits may be procured as deemed <br />necessary by the City Manager, after consultation with the City's insurance carrier <br />(currently the League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust), without regard to the <br />restrictions noted above. In these instances, the City Manager shall inform the Council of <br />the action(s) taken within a reasonable period of time and the Council has the option of <br />terminating the professional or consulting service provider once the immediate crisis or <br />lawsuit response deadline has passed. <br />Attachments <br />❑ Attachment A— Professional Services Policy <br />o Attachment B— Summary of Budgeted Consulting Services <br />o Attachment B— Summary of Prior Consulting Services in the Community Development <br />Department <br />Council Action Requested <br />Revise and/or amend the Professional and Consulting Services Practices defined above. <br />
