Steve Heikkila, DPRA — Environmental <br />Purpose: Provides environmental study expertise. Was hired in 1999 as part of <br />competitive bidding process for the first federal EPA funded environmental assessment <br />work in Twin Lakes. Have also used DPRA to assist in technical portion of <br />environmental grant writing, to review developer environmental studies and for other <br />small development proj ects. <br />Estimated 2004 Expenditure: $2,600 — Twin Lakes granddeveloper review <br />$38,000 — EPA Grant work <br />Budget for 2005: $5,000 — estimated for various general environmental review issues. <br />Additional work may be contracted based upon future grants. <br />Line item — Community Development, Economic Development division line item 260- <br />10-56-56-430 <br />Revenue Source: Permit fees, future development revenue, developer reimbursement, <br />grants (federal EPA and state DEED or Tax Base Revitalization). <br />11.
