(Ord. 1083, 1-14-1991) <br /><----- � - <br />� _ ---__ <br />1010.03: ADDITIONS, ALTERATIONS AND ACCESSORY <br />BUII.DINGS: <br />All subsequent additions, exterior alterations and accessory buildings, constructed after <br />tlie erection of an original building or buildings shall be of the same materials as those <br />used in the original building and shall be designed in a manner conforming to the original <br />architectural concept and general appearance. These provisions shall not prevent the <br />upgrading of the quality of materials used in a remodelin� or expansion program. (Ord. <br />1083, 1-14-1991) <br />1010.04: APPEARANCE: <br />Garages, accessory structures, screened walls and exposed areas of retaining walls shall <br />be of a similar type, quality and appearance of the principal structure. These provisions <br />sh;ill riot prevent the upgrading of the quality of materials used in a remodeling or <br />expansion program. (Ord. 1083, 1-14-.1991) <br />1010.05: LANDSCAPINGIN PARHING AREA: <br />Fi��e percent (S %) of the surface area of the land within a parking area shall be <br />landscaped with grass, shrubbery, trees and/or other approved ground cover. (Ord. 1083, <br />1-14-1991) <br />1010.06: CONCRETE CURBING: <br />The periphery of parking areas and drives shall be constructed with poured in place <br />concrete curbing. (Ord. 1083, 1-14-1991) <br />1010.07: ROOFTOP EQLTIPMENT: <br />Rooftop equipment, including rooftop structures related to elevators, shall be completely <br />screened from eye level view from contiguous properties and adjacent streets. Such <br />equipment shall be screened with parapets or other materials similar to and compatible <br />with exterior materials and architectural treatment on the structure being served. <br />Horizontal or vertical slats of wood material shall not be utilized for this purpose. (Ord. <br />1083,1-14-1991) <br />1010.08: UTILITIES: <br />Other utilities such as meters and air handling equipment attached to walls or placed on <br />the ground shall be located to ensure their proper function and facilitate easy <br />maintenance. All such utilities shall be totally screened from eye level view from <br />adjacent properties and public streets utilizing similar and compatible materials to that o f' <br />the principal structure.
