Study arid Repori Phase <br />Afler authorization to prooeed, ENGINEER shall: <br />i.2.1. Consult with OVVNER to clanfy and define OWNER's <br />requirements for the P�ojeci and review availabte data. <br />1.2.2. Advise OV�NER as to tl�e necessiiyo� OWNER's <br />providing or obtaining (rom others data a� services of tl�e iypes <br />described in paragraph 32, and assist OV�NER in obtaining <br />such data and services. <br />1.2.3. Identify and analyze requirementsof govemmental <br />autfiotities having jurisdiciion to approve ihe design of tl�e <br />Project and participate in corisult�ions wilh such authorities. <br />1.2.4. Provide analyses of OVYNER's needs, planr►ing <br />surveys, site evaluations and r.�e studies aF <br />prospedive sites and sdutiens. <br />1.2.5 Prepare a Rep[tt coniaining schematic layouts, <br />sketches and conceptual design criteria with appropriate <br />exhibits to indicate dearly the considerations involved <br />(induding applicable requirert�nts of gavemmental aufharities <br />having jurisdiction as �or�aidj and the altemative solutions <br />available to OWNER and setting fath ENGINEER's findings <br />antl rerornmendaUons. This Report will be accompanied b� <br />�NGINEER's opinion of proEd�a aosts fa- tl�e Project, <br />including the foUowing wtiich will be sep�ately itemized: <br />Construd�n Cost, ailowance fa- engineering c�sts and <br />cflntingencies, and (on the basis of i�f4r�vn fum'ished by <br />OWNER) oR�wa�r�aa for such other items as d�arges d all <br />ofl� professionals and consultants, for the cost of land and <br />rights-0f-way, fa- compensation for or damages to properties, <br />fa- interest arid finanang charges and for other �� to be <br />provided by oihers of OWNER pursuant to peragraph 3.2.
