Department Approval <br />CB <br />MEMO TO CITY COUNCIL <br />�si�� �{ar���c r ,� ���rr�w�a] <br />DATE: Ol /31 /05 <br />ITEM NO: S.a <br />Agenda Section <br />Announcements <br />Item Description: 2005 HOME AND GARDEN FAIR, FEBRUARY 26,2005 <br />SUMMARY of ANNOUNCEMENT <br />On February 26,2005, the ninth annual Home and Garden Fair will be held at the Fairview <br />Community Center Gymnasium, 1910 West County Board B, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. <br />and 3:00 p.m. <br />The Home & Garden Fair Coordinating Committee would like to formallyinvite the Mayor, City <br />Council and Roseville residents to this year's Roseville Home & Garden Fair to witness the <br />growing popularity amongst the exhibitors, seminar leaders and visitors at the Fair. The Fair is <br />generally attended by approximately 1,000 people from Roseville and surrounding communities. <br />In Roseville in 2004 more than 1,200 buildingpermits were issued, with a value of over $26 <br />million in residential construction. With the Fair, residents are given the opportunityto view the <br />latest trends, speak freely with various construction companies and landscape organizations and <br />attend seminars to assist them in general improvementto their homes and landscapes. <br />This year there are eight Corporate Sponsors: <br />Deck and Door Company <br />Kath Heating and Air <br />Linder's Greenhouse & Garden Center <br />New Windows for America <br />and one Regular Sponsor : <br />Morr Construction <br />No Place Like Home <br />Renewal by Andersen <br />Temo Sunrooms <br />Wenzel Heating and Air <br />These sponsors contributed $4,250 toward the cost of the Fair. In addition, vendors are charged a <br />fee to participate which covers the administrative costs of the fair.
