The Granite Foundation is a local, family foundation that provides assistance to <br />nonprofit organizations and individuals that have temporary, minor, or a one-time financial need. <br />The Foundation provides resources to a multitude of people and organizations under various <br />circumstances. <br />The police departmentwas awarded $5,000 from the foundation in response to the efficient <br />processing and closure of a burglary incident at the Madden residence in Roseville. <br />PROPOSED ACTION <br />Allow the police departmentto accept the funds donated by the Granite Foundation. The <br />Department plans to utilize these funds to guarantee the betterment of the police department and <br />community. <br />FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS <br />Not applicable. <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br />Allow the police departmentto accept the funds donated by the Granite Foundation.
