City Council Regular Meeting — O1/31/05 <br />DRAFT Minutes - Page 12 <br />Nays: None. <br />Kough moved, Maschka seconded, approval of a service <br />contract between the City of Roseville and the City of <br />Roseville's Housing & Redevelopment Authority (HRA) <br />for staff services of the Executive Director and support <br />staff at a cost of $45,000.00 for fiscal year 2005. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Maschka, Kough, Schroeder, Ihlan and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />S.b Accept $5,000 Donation to Roseville Police Department $5,000 Donation to <br />Mayor Klausing noted that this item would be moved ahead Roseville PD <br />on the agenda due to Mr. and Mrs. Madden's need to leave <br />the meeting for another event. <br />Police Chief Carol Sletner introduced Mr. and Mrs. <br />Timothy F. Madden, and recognized their generous <br />donation to the City's Police Department from the Granite <br />Foundation; and expressed the City's and Department's <br />sincere appreciation. <br />Mayor Klausing, on behalf of the City Council and citizens <br />of Roseville, thanked Mr. and Mrs. Madden for their <br />generous donation. <br />Mr. Madden acknowledged Mayor Klausing's comments, <br />noting that while it was natural for a City government to <br />deal with issues and controversies sometimes overplayed <br />by the media; he was happy with the mix of good things <br />occurring in the community; and again expressed his <br />family's appreciation for the Police Department "going the <br />extra mile." <br />Maschka moved, Schroeder seconded, approval of <br />acceptance of a$5,000.00 donation from the Granite <br />Foundation to the City of Roseville Police Department. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Maschka, Kough, Schroeder, Ihlan and Klausing. <br />
