Propose ordinances and programs <br />Limitations: <br />1. Weak Housing Maintenance Code <br />2. Code Enforcement abilities restricted by budget and manpower <br />3. No incentive to maintain or improve <br />4. Transportation and Transit <br />a. Understand key transportation issues that bind community together <br />b. Develop Goals & Obj ectives and funding for future improvements <br />c. Evaluate and place priority on Northeast Diagonal and other transit links <br />5. Refine economic development market and strategv; <br />Recognize roles and priorities of retail, office, service, bio-tech, bio-medical, and <br />manufacturing in community. Provide direction regarding redevelopment of industrial areas <br />bot� east of 35W and west of 35� in the fonn of a strategic plan. Provide direction on how <br />the staff should respond to inquiries.
