�� � <br />4 <br />*��. �_ � <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Job Description Title: Receptionist <br />Departmen�IDivision; Finance <br />Accountable To: Finance Director <br />Prepared By: Employers Association, Inc <br />JOB DESCRIPTION <br />FLSA Status: Non-Exempt r' Non Union <br />Position Status: Regular Full-Time <br />Salary Grade: Non-Exempt Level B <br />Revision Date: May 28,2002 <br />Job Summarv: <br />To provide general receptionist services for City Hall activities, and serve as a primary phone <br />contact for all City functions. <br />Scoue of Resuonsibilitv: <br />The Receptionist performs assigned duties to support the general reception duties and various <br />accounting andlor utility billing functions. <br />Essential Duties and Resuonsibilities: <br />1. General <br />1. l.Answer all inquiries by phone or in person in a courteous manner. <br />1.2.Direct guests and route calls to the appropriate department. <br />l.3.Issue and record animal licenses. <br />1.4.Sort and process all incoming and outgoing mail. <br />1,5,Receive andverify all general deliveries to City Hall. <br />l.�.Pravid�s routine clerical support for Department activities. <br />2. Accounting and Finance <br />2.1.Enter all general and utility billing receipts using a computerized cash receipts <br />system. <br />�.2.Route all records and documentation to applicable Departments. <br />2.3,Reconc�le and prepare daily receipt summary and bank deposit. <br />2.4.Assi�t in the collection of usage data for office equipment leases. <br />2.5.Sorts payroll checks. <br />3. Performs other duties as assigned. <br />Minimum Qualifications: <br />2_ High school diploma or equivalent, plus three (3) years in a customer service position. Key <br />characteristics include the ability to greet people in a professional and respectful manner, and <br />the ability to operate general office equipment. <br />`������ <br />
