County Road B. <br />� � Background <br />'?. I The purpose ofthe burns is to improve the quality ofprairie vegetation by stimulatingprairie <br />grasses and flowers and eliminating non-prairie vegetation. <br />�'.�' The site for the requested burn is an area approximately 30 feet in diameter and located on <br />the South end of the school. The site will be burned on a day with light winds and due to the <br />immature plantings, little smoke should be produced. <br />2.� <br />�{ <br />i.Y <br />The actual bum will be conducted by the Roseville Fire Department as requested by <br />�'aar�v�ew Center School. <br />In order to get proper weather and wind conditions, the school is requesting the bum permit <br />be effective from April 9,2005 through April 17�', 2005. <br />�.� Staff Recommendation <br />t.' It is the staffs recommendation that the City Council authorize the Fire Marshal to issue <br />bum permit to Par.�vzew Center School. The permit would be for the period of Apri19,2005 <br />through Aprill7, 2005. The purpose of the permit is to improve the quality of prairie <br />vegetation, stimulate prairie grasses and flowers and eliminate non-prairie vegetation. <br />�.0 Suggested City Council Action <br />�.
