MINNESOTA <br />�:� <br />� <br />2005 BYRNE JUSTICE ASSISTANCE GRANT (JAG) PROGRAM AWARD � <br />•r <br />This Agreement is made and entered into this 8th day of March, 2005, by and between the L <br />CITY of SAINT PAUL, MAPLEWOOD AND ROSEVILLE, acting by and through their ' <br />governing bodies, their City Councils, hereinafter referred to respectively as "Saint Paul", <br />"Maplewaod" and "Roseville" and the COUNTY OF RAMSEY, acting by and through its - <br />governing body, the Commissioners of the County, hereinafter referred to as "Ramsey", all of T <br />Ramsey County, State of Minnesota, witnesseth: �� <br />WHEREAS, this Agreement is made under the authority of the provision of Minnesota Statutes <br />Section 471.59, the Joint Powers Act; and <br />WHEREAS, each governing body, in performing governmental functions or in paying for the <br />performance of governmental functions hereunder, shall make that performance or those <br />payments from c�rrent revenues legally available to that party; and <br />WHEREAS, each governing body finds that the performance of this Agreement is in the best <br />interests of all parties, that the undertaking will benefit the public, and that the division of costs <br />fairly compensates the performing party for the services or functions under this Agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, the Saint Paul agrees to provide the Maplewood, Roseville and Rarnsey $171,652 <br />from the JAG award for the Collaborative JAG Program; and <br />WHEREAS, all parties believe it to be in their best interests to reallocate the JAG funds. <br />
