If a n�w deadline is adopted, the vacancy will be <br />re-advertised as desrribed in "B" above. <br />F. Applicants will be interviewed by the City Cauncil. The Chair and Vice <br />Chair of the Commis,sion to which the applicant is seeking appointment <br />will be invited to attf�nd and participate in the interview prncess. A <br />rninimum of five me�nbers of �he Interview Team mu5t participate in the <br />interview process, Inte�-views are open to the public. ��� <br />G. If a new vacax�cy ��ccurs after an application deadline and before an <br />appointment is madf°, a new applica�ion pracess will be used as <br />described in this procedure. <br />H. The Ci�y Council �cuill make the appaintrr�ents at the first Council <br />meeting fallawing ini:erviews. �___��� <br />I. Advisory Cammission applicatians shall be kept nn file for one year. If <br />during tha� year a v<�cancy occurs an any Cornmissian, all applicatYts will <br />be advised of the vac:ancy in wz-iting, <br />II <br />If a curren� Co�nm.is:�ion nnerrzber's term is expiring and is eligible for <br />reappointm.ent, the follawing prncedure will be used. <br />A. No later than sixt_,� (60) days prior to the expiration of a tez'arin, each <br />'�: comn�,i.�sio� mem.b�r whase term is expiring ��hall� be; cont'acted in, writxn� <br />��� ar�d directed to com��lete a written application for reappoiritment if they <br />desire tt� b� reappozrited. �For �aersQns seeking reappo�ntment, �he•� <br />Council shall be adv:ised ai the attendance reco�d of the individual whose <br />ferm is expiring. Th� Couneil will alsa be proaided with written <br />comments from the r�haiz-pez-son of the Commission regarding the <br />reappointment of the individ�zal. At that time, the Council will consider <br />whether to interview the comrnissioner; if twa councilrr�embers request, a <br />commissioner seekirig r�appointment will be scheduled to attend an <br />ir�terview befare the #entire Council. <br />B. Should the Counc:il detearmine thai the individual merits <br />reappaintment, .that person will be reappoi�ted. <br />C. Should the ixzeum.bent not wish to be reappaizated or should the <br />Council determine tYiat the individual do�s z�ot merit reappointrx��nt, the <br />Cnux�cil will foilow t��e procedure far filling vacar�cies as described in I. <br />abave. <br />
