Provide a brief statement of the public purpose and need for tax increment financing for the <br />project and benefits to the City ofRoseville citizens and community due to the proposed <br />development. <br />The redevelopment of Twin Lakes will remove an area of the City that is presently <br />occupied by truck terminals and obsolete industrial land uses. Considerable areas of the site <br />are contaminated as a result of past uses on the property. The redevelopment of the site wi�� <br />bring about the realization of a goal of the City — to see the emergence of Twin Lakes as a <br />vital new neighbourhoad within the City of Roseville.
